Scammers exploit what makes us human: our trust in the people we love. For Bitdefender, we created a film almost entirely with deepfakes and synthetic voices, the same AI tools scammers use, with the scammer himself the only real person on screen.

Scammers are using AI to borrow our faces, clone our voices and exploit the people who trust us most. So, for Bitdefender’s US campaign, we used those very same tools to show what they can do. Created with Territory Studio, They Wear Our Faces uses generative AI, deepfakes and synthetic voices to make the threat feel uncomfortably real, while putting the blame firmly on those behind the deception.
